Long overdue review: I’ve been taking Ashley’s classes for almost a decade. She has a beautifully rare blend of providing motivation, safely pushing you to your max while not being annoying or corny. The vibe is always fun and a GREAT cardio workout - amidst an industry that sometimes forgets how important this component is (vs. strength training only). Before you know it, the workout is done, you feel incredible and the rest of the day is yours.

I JUST walked out the door. Holy Pepperoli this was so fun and beginner friendly. I got a REAL workout. If you want changes, star fresh with yourself, and see results, and leave feeling fantastic, come to class with Christian. First thing for beginners, there is a quick waiver you need to sign when you walk on. There is a QR code to easily access it. They do not accept cash. Your card will be on file via the waiver that applies to booking traditionally outside of class pass, but it's not charged unless you need to buy something from the studio. note, bring hand wraps and gloves, but don't worry if you don't have it. They do sell hand wraps for $12-15, and glove rental is $10. The workout is extremely doable, and you will be reminded to go at your own pace. The instructor is incredibly encouraging, so don't be surprised if you find yourself kicking it up ten notches at your own volition. Here you'll learn to harness your power and hone in on breathing technique, punching, form, and foot work. Abs included! Get ready to box!

What a great first experience. It was challenging and fulfilling. Coach Savage and Coach Christina are so welcoming, but don’t think they’ll let you slack. “Keep moving” was repeated to me and I couldn’t be more grateful because it was well-balanced with affirmation and encouragement.I found Mr. Colonna’s gym through re-joining ClassPass on a trial run. Would love to use my additional credits for going back but then I learned the gym isn’t getting anything from me attending through ClassPass. If true, CP, should be mindful as how they recruit or collect gyms for this app. It may be more affordable (as it should) joining a gym through CP but the gyms allowing CP to build up CP’s directories should ensure these gyms get some cut, especially privately owned mom-and pop ones. They build generational wealth in the community with limited resources. I would recommend Sam Colonna Boxing, MMA and Fitness gym to anyone looking to be in community and looking for some discipline in their work out regimen.
