Sarah’s class was the toughest class I’ve very taken at Y7 (both around NYC and in LA). She had awesome, unique flow sequences and challenging modifications for advanced students. I appreciated her fast pace even during the “down time” in between flows. It felt like not a minute of class was wasted. I hope to find her on the UES schedule more often. Can’t wait to take a class with her again!

5 stars for Amy shes amazing BUT THIS STUDIO oh my god. Its too small you guys need to move. Nothing more relaxing then starting a class with everyone yapping...when did y7 start making this acceptable? Ive been shushed before and now everyone just talks. Trying to exit the class to go back to my life is ridiculous. I IMMEDIATELY lose my relaxed state as I exit into the studio to a sea of girls who have no idea how to be human. You guys have 10 locations and 100 teachers you have money please move locations for flatiron.

Very challenging class but Julie came around to help you with form, or if you're too tired she will come by your side and work with you to keep you motivated. She made the effort to introduce herself to me after class because she didn't know my name, and helped out other students who had questions. Will return and learn from her.

Slow flow class — Lucas has the class holding poses for about twice as long as your standard class. The flow is pretty basic but the slowness really amps up the effort. A nice experience, good balance of intention and effort but not for beginners. He rarely demonstrates.

Really comprehensive, suitable for levels basic to advanced with some challenging options on offer. A great soundtrack, nice length, will break a sweat. Would have been good to have the fan turned on a little earlier as it did feel rather warm in the room, but otherwise great ambience with the candles. Came out shaking but deeply relaxed. Dana put together really great sequences for gently opening up the body and stimulating circulation. Really appreciated her encouraging energy and inspiring words at the beginning of class. Also loved that the studio has lots of windows that let in great natural light and found the scent of eucalyptus in the air refreshing. Front desk could’ve been warmer and more welcoming, but I guess even yogis need a day off from letting their inner light of love shine.

I was the only person in the class for the day, and the instructor was great about correcting my form to make sure I was doing everything properly. It was a great workout and really hard. You will definitely get a great sweat! Each card suit was a different exercise - 2 lower body and 2 upper body. The number on the card was the number of reps. The instructor pulls 4 cards each round, one from each suit. I didn’t make it through the whole deck by myself but I got pretty far.

Amazing instruction from Paula. This isnt a sweaty fast paced vinyasa class. Nevertheless it packs a profound physical punch - the class started out with some very subtle ab work that, to my great surprise, left my core visibly different the next day. The rest of the class focused a lot on anatomy and where your movements should be coming from. Ill definitely be back. This class was epic and life changing. Im not a Yoga expert and do it only occasionally but over the years Ive done at least 200-300 classes Id say so I have some experience and this was one of best classes Ive come across. I had pulled my back earlier this week, achey all over from a hard work week, plus some emotional issues going on too with family and relationship. This class just made me feel alive, zen, happy. It stretched everything but did not over exert, good vibes from Sara the teacher and other students, clean space and nice warm yogi tea. Perfect way to reenergize on this rainy cold day when Im just in a low spot right now. The best part was the emotional and mental clarity I got while we Layed last 10 min class in savasaana. Thank you! Cant even describe how much this class meant to me. May buy more credits just to do more classes with Sara at yogaworks.

This class is definitely not a fast, sweaty flow class and that's what I like about it. Class starts off with mantras and dives right into sun salutations. Poses are then held for longer periods of time, which can be challenging at times. I find that this lets you get deeper into the poses and focus on form & the meditation aspect of yoga. I usually leave class feeling refreshed, I would recommend if you are looking for something different.

    Vinyasa

I actually really liked this class by Anna. She was attentive and gave lots of hands on adjustments which I appreciated. It was also a tough class! It reminded me of y7 flows with the one breath one movement. I'll definitely be back! Please have it on the schedule more often. I usually can't make a 5:30 class but I'd love to attend more.

    Vinyasa/Hatha Combo (Level 1 and 2)

Loved Gisel's class (she was subbing). The studio was dark and so soothing for night-time yoga! Easy postures, calming flow. Her voice was so gentle and lulling! She was smiley and offered peppermint oil before shavasanah. Ned, the studio owner, was also very nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend this studio.

    Level 1

Debby’s class helps focus on small things that have big impact on perfecting your asanas. Personally I appreciate her sense of humor too. Today some poses were more relaxing, and felt so good, that it all made it for a perfect class for the after-Thanksgiving morning.

    MultiPhyT Strength

This was my second class with Brandon and he was amazing. He is very through, patient and detail oriented. His knowledge and experience extends beyond performing the workout but rather the effect and benefits the exercise has on the body. I highly recommend this studio and more importantly taking classes with Brandon.
