Thank you Bradley for an amazing class! This man has so much energy, it’s palpable. He was *literally* bouncing off the walls (you’ll see). I love the HYPE that the Rumble instructor bring to the classes (both boxing and training), which makes it so much fun. Working out doesn’t have to be so serious! Not only is rumble training a great workout, but the amenities are fabulous. They even offer clean towels inside the studio in case your towel gets extra sweaty. The locker rooms are immaculate. I obliviously can’t say enough about Rumble!

Fun, tough workout. I was expecting it to be Barry’s or fhitting room hard. It felt probably comparable to a fair fhitting room workout and a light to medium Barry’s workout. For sure what you put in is what you get out. Clear instructions, motivating instructor. Wish it were an hour long at 15-16 credits.

Loved the class! It’s great to start the weekend with a challenging workout. I won’t take away a star because the class is so awesome but they should insist that every single person wipes off their mat after they use them. Some people disinfect the mat and other people sweat all over it and then just put it back on the hooks...

    BIX (Off Peak)

Loved this profile, especially after the countless painfully dreadful BX classes that I’ve attended recently, all which have been cardio + core based with no KB/DB strength movement. Workout consisted of 4, 7min stations with a buy-in cardio goal, followed by an AMRAP in remaining time of 2 other moves: 1. Run 500m / 20 jump switch lunges (I subbed in DB Reverse lunges) / 20 Plank shoulder taps 2. Row 600m / 20 KB swings / 20 SDLHP 3. 40 DB lateral box step ups over the top / 20 DB push press / 20 DB DL 4. 60 bike cals / 20 burpees / 20 air squats (I subbed in racked Squats) Overall a great mix of lower + upper body work with a solid strength component + ample cardio. Awesome.

Sam gave great form corrections and was very helpful. The small group format was great! I was able to work at my own pace but had support when I needed it. Walking in this place is intimidating and full of regulars who know the ropes. But once you get started everyone was welcoming and kind. The other class happening on the other side of the floor is an intense boot camp style and there is a lot of shouting. Still it was a perfect intro to weights and good for beginners. You will definitely get a great sweat! Each card suit was a different exercise - 2 lower body and 2 upper body. The number on the card was the number of reps. I go to a lot of classpass classes, and this was the best one I’ve been to in a while. The instructor is fantastic - really nice, encouraging, and gives personalized adjustments. It was a small class, so you get personalized attention to make sure you’re doing the moves correctly. You could clearly get in shape by doing this regularly. For ours, we did four different sets of three types of moves (repeated three times each) with a variety of cardio and strength training exercises, and abs in the middle of each set. It sounds like they change the moves each time though.

    HAIL Interval Training

LOVED this class! Great mix of strength training, HIIT cardio, and functional movements. Kelsey was super encouraging and helpful. The showers were clean and while there wasnt a huge womens locker room, it worked just fine for me. Cant wait to come again!

    Kickboxing

Joseph’s breakfast club is the place to be in NYC on Saturdays at 10 am. It’s one of the few authentic experiences left in New York, and someday I’m sure we’ll all look back on it and feel grateful that we got the chance to be there and hang out with a mad German kickboxing champion who got us to push through our comfort zone and learn to attack life itself.

    Beginner & Intermediate Gymnastics

I had a great time in this class! I have never done gymnastics but I have dance experience. I was a bit intimidated not being familiar with the warm up drills, but there were other beginners in the class and I just stuck with the practicing the basics. The best part was when we split up by level, Coach Randy was SO nice and SO encouraging. The other beginners were also very encouraging, and we all cheered each other on as we learned the basics. I am excited to return and continue learning.

    Ripped

Really liked the instructor and playlist. Only 2 of us in class meant lots of personal attention...and also I couldnt hide/slack! One of the most challenging workouts Ive found on Class Pass. (Yes, Tone House is intense but its totally different)

    Total Body/ Core

This is the second time I’ve taken class here. First time was years ago and I remember it being really good. This time, it was really low impact and the instructor was low energy which isn’t necessarily bad, just not my style. Granted, there were only 2 people in class so it’s tough to be super pumped, I get it. Low impact is fine but was hoping for more core workout as it was marketed that way. Ended up spending 5 min or less on core which was disappointing.
