Loved sarah. Not sure why anyone would write anything bad about her she was clear and very attentive to form. My only complaint is that the physique facilities need an update. Carpet is worn and the two showers arent enough. Going before work is so stressful.

    Exhale Barre

The ONLY exhale instructor I’ll take anymore, especially now that these classes cost a Whooping 12 credits, and the level of challenge has drastically dropped to almost a basic level, now catered to unfit, out of shape ppl. Prepare to work in his class. Alex is non stop, wasting zero time in the full hour - we covered 4 thigh positions including a glute intermission, then a set of glute work at both the barre + floor, topped off with 2 sets plank work, rather lengthy flat back + round back core sets, adding to the opening arm work that included 14 movements. Awesomely Killer

An exceptional class, as usual. Chandon was great about going around and making sure everybody had the proper stances for the exercises. She added in some new exercises I haven't done before, but will definitely incorporate into my own workouts. After class Chandon spent nearly ten minutes helping me practice some of the harder moves that I was having difficulty with in class. I can't tell you how much I appreciated her help.

Definitely an “athlete’s training” class. A raw gym space that incorporated sprints, body weight work, weights and sled pushes. The class felt like a workout you would have at studios like “body space fitness” or “personal structured fitness.” Great community feel.

Brand new studio, so get in now before the word gets out! I was the only attendee of my 6:30 pm class today, and it was no joke. Isaiah is super knowledgeable and designs his workouts to cater to his participants, ensuring that they get the best workout possible, dont injure themselves, and use proper form at all times. No slacking and no hiding! You will sweat and burn and be pushed to your limit, wherever you are in your fitness journey. The workout itself is a mix of bike hills and sprints ranging from 1 to 5 minutes in length, HIIT exercises and core work. Showers available. Be sure to bring a lock for your personal belongings!

Deep Tissue Indulgence Massage (50 Minutes)

One of the best massages I’ve ever had thanks to Claudia’s expert knowledge of physiology and thoughtful efforts to customize and address my problem areas. Really loved her attention to details that elevated the whole experience, like starting with a little aromatherapy by having me breathe deeply as she wafted some spearmint oil by my head and later using an amazing soothing had pillow and eye blind to put me in a deep relaxation cocoon. I walked in all hunched over and tight from stress and walked out feeling taller and lighter and completely chilled out. Super gratitude moment for people like Claudia who put so much into making others feel better!

    Microdermabrasion (20 Minutes)

Amazing experience. The aesthetician and front desk made me feel super comfortable and welcome. The facilities were clean and nonthreatening. The procedure was thorough and done carefully with everything explained and special care taken to meet my needs. It even ran 15 minutes long and included a mask and serum at no additional cost, which I really appreciated. Most of all, I appreciated that this wasn’t one of those spas where they insult your skin aggressively, so you feel pressured to pay for more treatments on the spot. My aesthetician actually said nice things about my skin! And I got out with exactly what I contracted for. Will definitely be back.

I enjoyed this class for the specific feedback and targeted exercises - I felt my muscles work in ways I hadn’t in other ballet classes. However, if you are a complete beginner, this isn’t the class for you unless you want to just follow the person in front of you. It’ll help a lot to know the basic positions of the arms and legs, as well as some basic steps or else you’ll probably feel overwhelmed. I will definitely return :)

I’m giving 5 stars because I love the idea of outdoor yoga in the park and want these folks to continue and thrive, but I do have some suggestions for improving the class. First, the teacher should have a sign or some kind of marker to help people locate the class amid the hundreds of people milling around the meeting place. And the class should remain at the meeting place until 5 min before class, rather than walking off at 15 min before class to a remote part of Sheep’s Meadow. I arrived 12 min prior to class and couldn’t find anyone until class actually started and I saw a distant group in downward dog. During class, the teacher was hard to hear and seemed self-conscious about raising her voice over the sounds of the park. During transitions, it would be helpful if the teacher announced the names of the poses first, so experienced yogis can keep to a smooth flow, rather than going into detailed positioning for each limb for beginners and only later stating “warrior 2”.
