5 stars for the workout, but this was not easy and I do not recommend for a Zumba beginner or someone who cannot easily catch on without instruction. If you’re used to Zumba cues (claps, points, etc) you won’t get many here. This is more cardio hip hop (which is really fun, but not what I thought I was getting myself into) than Zumba - only a few songs with Latin influence. If you can catch on easily and don’t require much instruction, go for it. High energy instructor & fun music. If you require a more low key, guided exercise, find another location or see if they offer a beginner class. Perk for those who go often is that it seems like a tight community. I was the only first timer in a booked class and many knew each other and all the routines. Overall it was a nice workout and I’ve taken a class by someone else here before, so it’s a great spot, but I can’t say I’d go back for this class because I hate feeling lost during a workout.

    Adult Ballet

Wonderful class! There is focus on form and placement and Anna gives great individual corrections. While I would consider this a beginner class it’s not an intro or very basic class - knowledge of ballet terminology and some experience are helpful. Anna is very welcoming though and does seem to tailor the class for the level of students.

I enjoyed this class for the specific feedback and targeted exercises - I felt my muscles work in ways I hadn’t in other ballet classes. However, if you are a complete beginner, this isn’t the class for you unless you want to just follow the person in front of you. It’ll help a lot to know the basic positions of the arms and legs, as well as some basic steps or else you’ll probably feel overwhelmed. I will definitely return :)

Everyone NEEDS to try this class out! This is THE ultimate dance class with the coolest format that encompasses both cardio and choreography! It’s so easy to follow along to and is accommodating for any beginner and can on some days also challenge us! Marnita is an incredible, magical being, it’s insane how she and her class can lift up anyone no matter how down they might be feeling! I can see on everyone’s faces at the end of class how she makes them feel :)
