Beginner's Yoga
see all reviewsThis class was the pace I really wanted. I felt welcome and really appreciated the instructor Nacera. Front desk did not greet me because there is self check in and a lot going on but it felt warm and inviting anyway. A few people arrived after class had begun. I’m glad people were able to come in late because I would like to be given that grace myself if it were to happen in the future. I liked that the instructor acknowledged even the late arrivals and how she introduced herself by name a few times. I learned a lot from participating in this class since the focus is explaining. Parking was a dollar in the back lot.

see all reviewsMollie is an incredible teacher. Her classes are definitely challenging but she always offers modifications and a non judgmental space to make it your own practice. I appreciate how she never fails to give breathing cues with every movement - the most basic pillar of yoga that most teachers nowadays forget. I’ve been attending her Saturday classes for a few weeks now and I feel so much stronger every week. Thank you, Mollie!!

see all reviewsI love this class but the space just feels so crammed and uncomfortable when it’s a full class. I understand the business wants to hit max capacity, but when class is this full it’s hard for me to tune in and feel my best. Love this class and this studio and will continue to come. Would just love a littleeeee more space between the mats (: thank you!

see all reviewsVery relaxing and slow-paced. This was in their large downstairs studio, which can be quite cold so be sure to wear layers (this is not a workout class, so you won’t be sweating or moving much). Also, since they don’t have curtains or blinds, there are sometimes a lot of noise and light pollution from the parking lot and street (pedestrians walking by and talking, car headlights, bus announcements, etc.)

Really enjoyed the class and how it was spaced out in terms of the different combos and progressions to truly help engage the core and have better comprehension of what's really going on in a pose.

see all reviewsGreat flow! I don’t love that she has people tune in from home. The last time I only heard her say hello on the computer to two people but there are so many people in person… and since she’s catering to the people from home she doesn’t walk around the room to give any adjustments. The computer set up also takes up a bunch of room since no one wants to be in the computers camera shot. Still love her classes regardless!

see all reviewsThe class was very much needed to do what we hardly do in our daily lives and that is to slow down and pay attention to our bodies. I really liked this instructor specifically because although sometimes there’s a loud dance room next door, she maneuvered around it and taught us that life can be contradicting just as we’re mellowing out here in this space and right next door they’re having a party. I think that was really special to bring up and how we continued forward. Yoga/meditation can be done anywhere no matter your surroundings. Well taught!

see all reviewsI actually really enjoy when teachers at least provide or give the opportunity for more challenging poses! And this class was awesome does that! I’ve been doing yoga now on and off for like 8 years and to be honest, sometimes I can get really complacent and that’s fine of course but sometimes I want to push myself and try something new with my body and see “okay can my body do this or is this a new limitation? Or is this a new discovery??” But what happens too often is I get so use to the same poses and the same flows and never even attempt anything more difficult . As such, I LOVED that this teacher snuck in a few more modifications to kick things up a notch for those who wanted the challenge that practice!

She is a masterful teacher, striking the perfect balance between encouraging her students to try new things and offering the right type of support to get them there. For years I had been too scared to attempt handstands, but Dani somehow managed to teach them in a way that made me feel comfortable trying. A year ago I never would have expected to be excited for the part of class where we practice going upside down, but here I am, thanks to Dani 😀
