    Chest, Back & Abs (60 Minutes)

    I thought Matt W. was outstanding. He started class by announcing that there would be three rounds: 8 minutes, 10 minutes and 6 minutes. He explained everything clearly and gave lots of demos. He was helpful - setting up bands and putting them away. He was encouraging and corrected form. And his runs were challenging but within reason. THANK YOU! Really wonderful class.

    Full Body (60 Minutes)

    This was the best Barry's class I've been to. I REALLY liked the format of eight-minute treadmill intervals, each consisting of two-minute runs spaced out by recovery walks. That felt much more reasonable and attainable than the classes that involve 21-minute treadmill intervals, where it's so long that you just know it's impossible and don't try as hard. Also Allie's floor work was easy to understand and she gave the most individual attention I've had at Barry's - including pushing me to hit my fastest sprint pace (three times)!

    Oh man. I came to Mike today because I couldn't quite face Angie over at Pilates Plus in Silverlake. Mike was almost as tough (but he doesn't give outrageously difficult spring loads with no options). I kept crapping out but I know I'm going to be sore tomorrow. Great class.

    Really really like Rebecca as a trainer! It was one of the hardest (in a good way) classes Ive taken in a while! Loved it! She pushes you without making you feel uncomfortable especially for a non-athlete like myself. Will keep my eye out for more classes that she teaches

    This is a very hard workout. On the treadmill then on the floor and back on the treadmill and keep repeating for one hour. Martin is a very energetic teacher. It is free validated parking in the back. They offer lockers and towels but make sure to bring water.

    Ive been coming to November Project for several years. I recently started coming to the West LA tribe and now I leave every workout exhausted and grinning wide. They mix hills, stairs, track and body weight exercises with an enormous amount of positivity! Parking can be a little tricky but their Facebook page has a great map to help!

    LA - Griffith Observatory

    I had so much fun this morning! I love Griffith Observatory and it's so peaceful and beautiful in the early morning. Everyone at November Project was so welcoming and supportive of one another. My usual experience at group fitness is that the instructor is positive and enthusiastic and everyone else just minds their business and follows along. Not here! The instructors Jesse and Kait are fun and super nice, but what really sets it apart is how much more social and supportive it is - everyone who comes to work out is interacting. I got in a solid workout that involved short bursts of running and various bodyweight exercises - many of which were partner exercises and gave me a chance to chat with other members who are part of this workout "tribe". I look forward to coming back!
