    City Glow Facial

My experience was incredible! Lana was very knowledgeable and explained each step as she went along...sometimes facialists don’t say much about what they’re doing, and I prefer to know what each product going on my face is. At the end of the session she gave me recommendations for 2 products to add to my routine, but she wasn’t pushy by any means and just told me they are something to consider. She wrote down the names for me so I could easily look for them online or elsewhere. She wasn’t insisting on my purchasing anything right then & there, which is nice because many estheticians do! I highly recommend it and I’ll definitely be back for more.

Make Me Glow 50 Minute Facial

Loved the facial and the space, but I wish I had known it’s sort of “express spa” vibes in that you drop in, get your facial, and leave. There aren’t other facilities to use, and you don’t even change out of your clothes (so don’t show up in jeans, or come straight from a boxing class hoping to shower before your treatment like I did). On the plus side, the facial didn’t touch my hair so you won’t leave feeling like you need to shower, which happens after many other facials. Keep in mind that tip isn’t included, and the facial goes for $98 so you’re also going to pay about $20 in tip. Also they were running about 10-20 min behind and didn’t seem super fazed, so make it clear if you’re in a rush.

    Root Color Touch Up

From the booking process with the patient and kind Onich, which was made easy - despite my high-maintenance requests, to the kind welcome at the cozy, comfortable salon, to the amazing professional care of my hair by Jean, I cannot say enough to great things about the professionals at Thomas Taft in SoHo. I have finally found my NYC hair care team! Jean totally got my need for a low-maintainer haircut, also making the grays disappear with a perfect single process. Amazing when everything works wonderfully . . . THANK YOU!

    cp BLOWOUT

Was styled by Alexis and had the best time! The salon is beautiful and located in a great part of Soho, which makes it the perfect pick-me-up while doing errands. Alexis used high-quality products and was very informative given that I have double-processed hair. My hair is super soft and shiny now and I’ll def be going back!

Mila was great - she knew exactly what to do for a prenatal client. Massage room was clean, pretty basic. They don’t have a special table for your belly, you just lie on your side. Would recommend to a friend for a no frills massage.

    Diamond Microdermabrasion Facial

Cat was very knowledgeable and really took her time to figure out what I wanted from the facial. Only complain is that my treatment was listed as an hour on ClassPass and was actually only about 35 minutes. I would have gone for one of the 40 credit hour long treatments instead of this 31 credit 35 minute one, but all in all I’m happy with how my skin looks and feels after the facial!
