Santiago is so positive and encouraging, and makes time to give individual corrections on form. Also worth noting that he makes a point to say hello when Im at the studio for other classes even if I havent been to boxing in months.

    barre3

Friendly, energetic, and encouraging instructor. The class was a bit more cardio than I’m used to for barre and barre3 in particular. I liked the studio. It was bright and didn’t feel cramped even though there were a good amount of us there.

The selfish part of me doesn’t want everyone to know what a fantastic yoga teacher Zoe is, but then I think the nicest thing I could do is let you all know so you can take her class too. She’s the best. End of.

    Pure Barre Classic

Michele did a great job of working with someone who was a first timer and leading the class for the rest of us. I think that Pure Barre is generally the hardest of the barre classes I’ve attended (Barre3, Romney, Dailey Method, BarreWorks, Bar Method- some of these don’t exist in New Orleans). A beginner could definitely attend this class but I wouldn’t be deterred if you’re not able to get everything the first time. I think part of what makes Pure Barre so challenging is that the class moves pretty quickly.

Definitely an intermediate class, and Im no where near that fitness level but the instructor wasnt pushy! You go at your own pace but the intervals will get your blood pumping from floor to treadmill instantly.

    Beach Body Burn

This class was so much fun, but it was definitely a hard workout! The boards were hard for me to balance on, but the workouts I was able to do on the board were challenging. I was able to do some of the exercises on the mat instead of the board. I felt great after this class! The instructor, she was amazing, she was able to help me with my posture. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the beginning. Will definitely be back again!
