    Prenatal Yoga

She was great! It was a small basement studio, but it was super cozy and the instructor was very accommodating with any changes we had to make depending on how our bodies were responding & with my temperature change request, It was a semi private class because only 2 women were there including me, which meant we got added attention. The teacher did correct us sometimes, but not to the point where it was annoying, only corrections that came across as helpful. Both teacher and the other girl in class were really sweet and the class was not intimidating. I got in a workout that was just right (moderate burn, not overly demanding & that's what I was looking for). You don't need to bring mats or water. It's fine to show up at any stage if pregnancy (both me and the other girl are still in our first trimesters). Mats, blocks, water, etc all provided with the class. I'll certainly be back!

Megaformer - Lagree : All Levels

So so happy to see Lagree NY on classpass!! I had been to this studio several times prior to today and always had a great experience. The instructors are friendly, welcoming and demonstrate exercises during class so there is minimal confusion if you’re not sure about form. The classes I’ve been to are all smaller than other studios so there is more individual attention (although I imagine being on classpass may draw more people). The studio is well lit so you can actually see yourself and make form adjustments (most machines only have mirrors on one side). The music is not blaring so you will not lose your hearing. The workouts are always a well balanced mix of upper and lower body and are more in line with Lagree method as compared to other studios in the area. While I don’t think this is the most intense megareformer workout it’s still incredibly effective and makes me feel good that I can do back to back without as much rest time.
