About this class

Perhaps the most popular style practiced in the West, these classes keep you moving! You’ll flow continuously through strong sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures, linking breath with movement and work to build strength and endurance as you push the edge of your balance and flexibility. In Sanskrit vinyasa means “to place in a special way,” and that informs the graceful dance that is a well-planned vinyasa sequence. When you hit that sweet spot and the endorphins kick in, a pushup suddenly becomes an exercise in weightlessness—you glide, you float, you sail into a blissful final relaxation. Now you get the hype, right?

Alison was too technical and the flow never got going. Also the atmosphere of the studio was really tense. Not my favorite..
Vinyasa Flow 2-3 [m] with Alison
Front desk staff were rude - waited in long line to check in with no sense of urgency from the people at front. Disliked the confrontational nature of the class with people's mats facing one another - was not relaxing to have nowhere to look in the class but at the ground because i was 6 inches from another person staring directly at me for 70 minutes.

Vinyasa Flow 2-3 [m] with Peter
Peter is amazing. This class is always the perfect mix of flow, breathing, music and challenging enough to keep me engaged week to week.
Vinyasa Flow 2-3 [m] with Nichol
Nichol is amazing. That voice! Great energy.
Vinyasa Flow 2-3 [m] with Peter
Light-hearted, playful and dynamic. All good things but because almost no cues for proper form and alignment nor corrections were given, this fast-paced and energetic class was an invitation for injury. I know, Im not a professional but I know what Ive learned over the years about good form & alignment. There were so many people in class who were enthusiastically trying their best to keep up with the poses but they werent provided feedback when, for example, they dipped their chests down to the ground in chaturanga.

Danni is the best!
