Taking classical yoga postures one at a time, Hatha classes focus on mindfulness and alignment as a means to build strength, balance and flexibility. In a Hatha class poses are often held for a longer period of time and attention is paid to detail and subtlety. Hatha is perfect for those who crave a strong yet slower practice. It is also a great fit for the beginner who wants to build confidence and solidify their self-awareness. All Levels.

I really like Allie! It’s been a dream of mine for 9 years to join a class at Yoga Pearl and I finally got to today! It was a great strength and balance-building class! Not pretentious at all and it was very down to earth. Thank you for this great class! I will visit here again!

This is a good class if you are very intro to yoga and are looking for some instructive pain/bodily tension relief. Wouldnt recommend if you are looking for a more intense workout/flow (I was recommended by a friend who bailed at the last minute due to illness.) The studio is located within and adjacent to a juice/coffee bar. Hearing the blender go off every 5 minutes was kind of distracting.

Really liked Pam's class. She gave a lot of different options and would be great for all levels. She is very mindful and intentional with her teaching as well.

This was a great chill Sunday yoga class! Amy was amazing and very helpful without making me feel obviously inexperienced as i am. I loved that she took class requests for class focus and that we didnt move through the same old flow. I left class feeling stretched and relaxed!

Finally a challenging Hatha class in this space! Unfortunately, she was just subbing and normally doesn't teach this style! Very good, will keep my eye out for more Hatha from her

Really good class, I agree with other comments that it is mis categorized - I teach Hatha 1 myself and this class was about as challenging as mine but with more relaxing poses. I read the reviews carefully and it was exactly what I wanted- but if you're looking for Hatha 2, this ain't it. Not suitable for absolute beginners, instructor is very hands off and offers minimal adjustments, even when needed.

I enjoyed parts of this class, however there were parts that I feel couldve been better. I feel the instructions couldve been more clear and we couldve spent more time in standing poses. It was also incredibly distracting to hear the blender from the cafe area going off several times, as well as the chatter from the folks in the cafe area.

Slow paced, good holds. Easy going music. Teacher has great personality.

I was the only person that ended up being in the class. Natasha and I laughed about it, shook it off and started the class. It was like I had my own PERSONAL session! She asked me what I wanted to work on and she broke everything down for me and helped me with the basics. I'd do this class again, even if I was the only person :)

Emily is an amazing instructor. I've had a lower back pain for 2 weeks and she was able to help stretch and soften the pain and was awesome to lye in svasana without any pain for the first time in a while!

Lovely class with Emily! Focus was on alignment, core and balance. Her instruction is kind,thoughtful and grounded in how the practice belongs to you. This works well when folks realize it is about learning your own body capacity or needs for the day. I always leave her classes thinking about how we are in a continuous process of building, deconstruction and rebuilding in yoga. I think this applies to life in general, but it takes the yoga practice to bring one back to a simple, yet profound aspect of life.
