About this class

Vinyasa is a dynamic system of practicing asana by linking breath to continuous movement in sequence. This style of yoga builds heat, endurance, flexibility, and strength through focused concentration. An attentive ear and some knowledge of basic yoga postures is recommended to keep pace with the flow. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations, and may vary with teacher. Level 2-3 is suited for intermediate to advanced students who appreciate a healthy sweat and have some level of stamina and strength. Mind and body sync with sun salutations and postures strung smoothly together in a robust and spirited flow. Classes include advanced postures, arm balances, backbends, and inversions.

How to prepare

Come at least 5 minutes early-there is often a last minute rush for classes. (Late arrivals will forfeit space to wait-listed students.) Bring your own, or rent mats for $2. Cubbies are provided for non-valuables--bring valuables to class with you.

How to get there

Auto Parking There is on-street free and metered parking available around the studio. There is a 2-hour time limit between 8am and 6pm, Monday-Friday. Bike Parking We offer wall-hanging bike racks behind our gated entrance and bike racks on the sidewalk-secure your bike to the racks with your lock. We are on or near Bike Routes 30, 32, 47 and “the wiggle.” Transit We are four blocks from the N Judah stop at Duboce Park, and less than one block from Muni Bus lines: 24 Divisadero, 6 Parnassus and 71 Haight/Noriega.

What is ClassPass?
