How it works

About this class

This class is an exploration the “power” theme and will incorporate both flow-based practice (linking poses together with breath) and static posture practice (challenging our strength and endurance). Power Flow will enliven students' core strength, both through focused core work as well as through emphasis on moving from the core into many categories of postures, such as arm balances. Practicing in this way improves posture, stabilizes the lower spine and pelvis, increases overall muscle tone, and heightens capacity for focus and mental clarity. This athletic and deep practice is not recommended for first time yogis.

Power Flow with Martine
good class, but it was very crowded and hard to hear the instructor
Power Flow with Martine
I really like Martine. I’ve taken her Moxie classes but the power yoga class here at YG is a whole other beast. I’ve been practicing yoga for roughly 10 years and I was very much challenged in this class. It’s a great workout for sure, and I like Martine’s playlist and vibe
Power Flow with VaZa
Vaza’s class is both challenging and inspiring.
Power Flow with VaZa
Super busy
Power Flow with VaZa
I adore VaZa, & her classes are wonderful, but this particular one was WAY, waaaay too crowded. Please Yoga Garden, put a cap on the number of people in your classes. ????????????
Power Flow with VaZa
Challenging!
Power Flow with Martine
This class is always great but the studios need to be renovated. Or at least repainted - it feels really tired, which is a crime because the space has so much potential to be stunning!
Power Flow with Martine
Mindful instructor who offers variations for all levels with her own distinct teaching style. Love her classes and this adorable studio!
Power Flow with Jen

Love martine!
Power Flow with Rebecca
Challenging, core focused yoga
Power Flow with Jen
Jen is really nice, the studio is awesome! I will for sure come back for another class, but I was underwhelmed by the Power Flow sequence in this class.
Power Flow with Christie
This class was called power flow but it was so slow I was convinced I was in the wrong room! I was short on time and looking for something intense and vigorous, you know, power flow... I checked in with the teacher about it and she said she teaches more of an alignment flow, which is cool, if thats what youre looking for. I just wish it had been properly named or I would have chosen something different.
Power Flow with Martine
Martine kicked my butt
Power Flow with Martine
Fantastic class!
Power Flow with Martine
A lot of plank. Very little Yoga. We didnt do any warriors or really any flow. We mostly did strength building and core.
Power Flow with Christie

Power Flow with Rebecca
Good combination of deep stretch and vinyasa. Very promptly start and finish to class which I appreciate!
Power Flow with VaZa
pretty fast paced clasa with a couple instructions that I didn't really understand. had to look around multiple times to see what everyone else was doing.
Power Flow with Christie
It was a bit more advanced than Im used to but it was a killer workout!

Power Flow with Christie
