Beginners - Dru at Thrive Wellness Centre
About this class
This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners. The Dru class will be a ‘general’ class, suitable for all abilities and all bodies (creaky joints welcome). Modifications are provided so that everyone can manage the class at their own level. Experienced yogis from other traditions will enjoy exploring this ‘soft body’ approach and feel it deepen their awareness and connect body, heart and mind. Expect to improve the freedom of movement in your body, your posture and flexibility, especially in your spine. Dru yoga is also suitable for all levels of experience but not recommended for those with physical limitations or those recovering from injury. As with the general Dru class the benefits are not just physical but you can expect to feel an improvement in your strength and flexibility as we flow through the stronger dru sequences.
