How to prepare

Wear socks (that cover your toes please) for all Barre classes. For Dailey Cycle classes, you must have clip in cycling shoes (with SPD cleats) or you can borrow them for FREE at the studio.

How to get there

There is metered parking in front of the studio on Ashby Avenue, or free street parking (2 hours) on all of the neighborhood side streets.

Dailey Gentle with Kia
Kia is a wonderful instructor. I was very appreciative of this class and all the guidance that Kia provided, as well as her descriptions in general. I felt very attended to, and I got the sense that everyone in the class also enjoyed her instruction style and ability to see when modifications or more direction would be helpful. This was exactly the type of movement to my day that I prefer, with understanding of the point of different motions and the ability to work at the level I want. I liked the IT band stretching at the end also, which a PT recommended to me after I dislocated my patella but that I rarely do. :) Thank you.

This class is a much better pace for new students to barre type exercises. The instructor was kind and went around to help each person as needed. It’s good to ask questions and ask for assistance to make sure you’re posture/position/movement is correct. :)).

This was a great class as I am recovering from some weirdly intense lower back spasms (I also brought my never-exercises husband along, and it was good for him too!). Its very choose-your-own-adventure in terms of modifications, and while definitely easier than a normal Dailey but still some opportunities to level up a bit. Kia was very attentive to form and everyones limitations. We will he back!

This class is great if you have an injury or are just getting back into exercise! If youve attended a barre class before if recommend skipping this level and going straight to Dailey Barre instead!

What is ClassPass?
