About this class

Barre Code is our cornerstone format and our most traditional barre-style class. We target all the major muscle groups of your body through small-range, isometric movements designed to build strength & muscular endurance. In addition to overall strength, you’ll also build a stronger core, increased flexibility and mental toughness. We recommend everyone take this as one of their first classes because it’s the foundation of all of our formats. It will help to familiarize yourself with how our classes flow, how we cue, and most importantly, how to connect your mind to your body.

How to prepare

Socks are required for all classes. Bottled water and body wipes are available for sale. There are not showers at the studio, but the vanity area is stocked with items to freshen up.

How to get there

Located on Main Street, between 6th and 7th streets in downtown Cincinnati, next to the Richter and Phillips streetcar station. Parking suggestions: meters on Main or 7th Street.

This class was amazing! Emily was the best instructor. I have taken a lot of pure barre classes and wasn’t sure what to expect with barre code and it was slightly more challenging and my legs felt like jello when I left - in the best way! Awesome workout that would work for any level because you can make it harder or easier with modifications.

What is ClassPass?
