How to prepare
For health and hygiene reasons, they encourage students to bring their own mats, but a limited number are available to hire for $1. If you are doing an outdoor class, you may like to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat. Surfside Yoga recommend bringing water for all types of classes.
How to get there
While the weather is still warm, on Tuesday evenings they use the outdoor deck at the back of the surf club and yoga to the sound of the waves. Around the time that daylight savings ends (early April), they move inside a warm and welcoming space at the Tennis & Community Centre at North Narrabeen. On Saturday mornings, they practice outside the surf club, or inside the Community Centre in wet weather. On Thursday mornings they are based at the Coastal Environment Centre overlooking Narrabeen Lagoon.
