Mat Level 3 at Simply Pilates
About this class
All our classes focus on developing core and back strength, balance and alignment and strengthening and toning the arms and legs. The difference here is that we are using gravity to challenge the body placements and sometimes also therra bands or power circles. It is a group class environment with a maximum of 10 participants. Mats are provided, however you will need to bring your own towel if you like. You can work out bare foot or in socks. To join a level 3 class, classical Pilates experience is required. How to prepare
Wear something you feel comfortable to work out in. It can range from tights to tracksuit pants, from singlets to t shirts. For Pilates classes you can be bare foot or wear socks or purchase grip socks at the studio. For the Booty Barre classes, they recommend either bare feet or ballet slippers. You can bring water or purchase it at the studio. The only thing you will need to bring is a small towel if you like and a good attitude.
How to get there
The studio is 5min from the North Brighton train station (Sandringham line). If you are driving to class you will need to find street parking, watch out for the different time restrictions. If you are walking, the studio is located between Aisling and Cochrane street and it is upstairs.
