About this class

A classic 50-minute class includes warmup, weight work, targeted thigh and seat exercises, and then deeply targets the core for the remainder of class, including ab work based against the wall and on the mat. All classes incorporate mindful muscle movements without extraneous motion or physical distraction and emphasize muscular endurance by incorporating high repetition sets, isometric holds, pulses, and stretching after each targeted muscle group.

How to prepare

Sticky socks are required for all classes. ATTN new users! You must arrive to your first class experience at Simply Barre 15 minutes early to fill out waiver information and get a tour of the studio. If you do not arrive 15 minutes early, you will be turned away. Thanks so much for understanding!

How to get there

Just a block from the corner of 'A' street and Broadway, where Fort Point, South Boston and the South End come together. Free street parking. Broadway T-stop is two blocks away.

Barre Class with Michele
Michele gave directions too quickly and several times I found myself looking around the room for visual cues. And I am an avid participant in Barre classes, so usually I can follow along easily. Maybe it had something to do with where I was standing? Overall disappointed in the lack of attention to form. However, the moves themselves were effective.

What is ClassPass?
