How to prepare

Classes are heated to a reasonable 85-95 degrees, so dress lightly in synthetics you’re comfortable sweating in—100% cotton will soak up sweat and become heavy. You’ll soon be wearing your sweat as a badge of honor and a sign of your comfort with your own body. You will also need a yoga mat, towel and a bottle of water. If you do not have these, no worries we have mats available to rent for $2 and mat towels for $3

How to get there

Salt Lake Power Yoga is located in the heart of Salt Lake City. The studio is located at 250 E Broadway, Suite 200 in Salt Lake City, Utah on the second floor. There is free parking located behind the building. Find the orange and purple doors titled "SHAKE AND SWEAT ZONE" and take the stairs to the second floor.

My lower back really hurt after this class, like a pinched feeling. We did very few warmups before diving into a flow (e.g. cat-cow, tabletop, thread the needle) - really no hip/back/chest openers. Overall, I felt worse afterwards than I did to start. And upon reflection, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Also these POOR newbies had no idea what they were doing. Thought they might hurt themselves and weren’t getting any guidance!

Really crowded. They need to cut it off at a certain point and not jam pack the room. I love their classes but I’ll go elsewhere if it’s continually overly sold out

Kendall is amazing! I love the extra effort she puts in at the end and presses your shoulders down during shavasana!!! I know we’re sweaty and icky, so I appreciate the extra mile she goes- that lavender towel and little push is what I look forward to in class!

Instructor was great, however the class was completely over filled. If there is a cap, it's too high. If there isn't one, there needs to be. When people who reserve in advance and pay for class have no comfortable space to place their mat it really detracts from the practice to be right on top of other students.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.
