How to prepare

Shoes are free for your first class. You can rent them from the studio for $2 moving forward, or you are welcome to bring your own cycling shoes with LOOK Delta or SPD cleats. We provide every RYDER with a complimentary HR monitor to loan out for the class. If you prefer to bring your own monitor please visit RYDE4.com for compatible monitors. If you are loaning out a HR monitor, please bring your ID. Bottled water is available to purchase for $2.50.

How to get there

RYDE4 is located on the roof deck of Burn Fitness on the Third Street Promenade. Park in the Santa Monica Parking structure on 4th Street between Wilshire and Arizona. 90 minutes free. Enter through the alley (find the door under the big RYDE4/Burn Fitness sign) and take the stairs to the roof (3rd floor).

Duncan is always great. All the classes here require heart monitors, which is great, but the monitors don't work 80% of the time so you end up thinking about them the whole class instead of focusing on your workout.

Good workout but didn’t love the gym. Class is in a weird space on the roof and it felt pretty disorganized, not what I’m looking for at 6 am. I definitely did get a good workout in, but It’s an odd set up.

Great class! Taylor incorporates a lot of obliques, abs and arms during her ride. Always a good burn. And it seems the studio is getting more organized.

I will definitely take this class again. Very challenging if you follow her instructions for resistance. I couldn’t hear anything she was saying though, I think they need a new microphone.

What is ClassPass?
