About this class

New to Pilates? Need a higher fitness level than our intro class? This class is for you. This 55-minute long Pilates class uses the Balanced Body Allegro II Reformer to teach proper alignment and the fundamentals of Pilates. We incorporate traditional Pilates principles with innovative strength training and cardio exercises to give you a total body workout that will strengthen and lengthen your muscles. This class focuses on the basics and is designed to leave you feeling refreshed while also helping to improve strength, flexibility and core stability. The class will have the complexity of a Level 1 class, but the fitness level of a Level 2 class.

I love Pilates on the reformer. But Brittney takes it to the next level. She is like Oprah, “you get a thigh gap, you get a thigh gap, everyone gets a thigh gap!” In all seriousness, she sees your strength and pushes you. She is so attuned to each person and position then gives such effective modifications and corrections. Seriously the best!

How to prepare

Comfort is key. Think tank tops, yoga pants, leggings, etc. Overly baggy clothing can make it difficult for the instructors to see your form, so fitted clothing is best. Please refrain from wearing jewelry and other loose accessories. Wear grip socks and a smile!

How to get there

Located in the King Sooper's shopping center on South University Boulevard. Next to Parry's Pizza and Fantastic Sam's. Parking is available in the parking lot.

What is ClassPass?
