About this class

Total body, low-impact, indoor rowing. It's your signature 55min Cardio Rō, packed with unique, high-intensity intervals on the Concept2 rowing machine that pit you vs yourself for an intense challenge -- regardless of if you've been on a rowing machine before, whether you're super fit or just getting your health back on track! Rō moves through a four-week program, designed to improve different aspects of your fitness through unique challenges within each workout. Drop-in's are welcome! Check their IG page to see what the focus is for the week (@rofitnessaustin). First class: Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so they can show you the ropes before class! Doors open 15 minutes before class starts.

Connor is great! His playlist is very throwback so I loved that, and he pushes hard while also providing good advice on technique. I’ll be back!

The classes at Rō Fitness are consistently great. They are always challenging with positive motivation from the instructors. Britney always leads class with a positive attitude and a beaming smile, even at 6:00 or 6:30 am. If she ever has an off day, it is never visible in class. She is great at taking you into putting in a little more effort, when you think you have given all you have to give.

Getting down the technique and the rhythm was a major challenge for me, and I still dont feel that I had figured it out by the end of the class, but I did get a good work out in nonetheless. Instructor was nice and helpful, but I could have used more technical direction and tips.

Thanks for the feedback! We try to help you along the way to develop injury preventative form and a great workout! Sometimes it takes a few classes, but we're always willing to stay after class or meet with you before class for more practice and feedback!

Emily, the new teacher, is AMAZING! We can probably all admit when we get used to a certain teacher, when a new instructor comes on board its like breaking in a new pair of shoes. Emily jumped right in and pushed us hard - she is very, very good at her job. Check out her class!
