How to prepare

Please wear comfortable workout attire and athletic shoes. For yoga and Pilates: shoes are not necessary, socks are optional. Mats and hand-towels are available for use. Showers and day-use lockers are on site (note-padlocks are not provided). Upon arriving for class, check in at the front desk and go upstairs. -Group X Studio (entry door next to wall-mounted whiteboard) -Group Training Area (black-floored open area) -Group Pilates Room (entry door next to gray shoe cubbies)

How to get there

Rise Bodyworks is located at 1226 Park Street. in Alameda, between San Jose Ave. & Encinal Ave. There is no patron parking lot. Metered parking is available on Park Street. Non-metered parking can be found on nearby residential streets.

My friend and I love this class! The tabata style gives you enough to be challenged without overstraining since the levels are adjusted to what you personally can do. Bonus points for the badass instructor cheering you on & blasting rock music the entire time.
