The reformer provides finely tuned exercise resistance that allows one to work very precisely to develop good alignment, core strength and flexibility. By using body weight and resistance of the springs to push and pull the carriage, you will train a variety of body parts.

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable workout attire and athletic shoes. For yoga and Pilates: shoes are not necessary, socks are optional. Mats and hand-towels are available for use. Showers and day-use lockers are on site (note-padlocks are not provided). Upon arriving for class, check in at the front desk and go upstairs. -Group X Studio (entry door next to wall-mounted whiteboard) -Group Training Area (black-floored open area) -Group Pilates Room (entry door next to gray shoe cubbies)

How to get there

Rise Bodyworks is located at 1226 Park Street. in Alameda, between San Jose Ave. & Encinal Ave. There is no patron parking lot. Metered parking is available on Park Street. Non-metered parking can be found on nearby residential streets.
