About this class

RIMA introduced fitness kickboxing to the area more than 20 years ago. Classes combine principles of Muay Thai kickboxing, circuit training, core conditioning, calisthenics, one-on-one instruction, music that makes you move - and a whole lot of fun. You’ll train with gloves, wraps, heavy bags, jump ropes and kick pads - so bring lots of water!

Challenging but fun! Instructor took the time to teach me correct form and boxing basics since i was new.

The class was fun. Instructor was very nice and patient. Overall a very good first time experience. I was asked to purchase the hand wraps before the class. It would be better if I have known that from their how to prepare notes before I came. Also I wish I had a mat for some of the warm-ups and stretches on the floor.

Owner gave the intro upon arrival and was really sweet and passionate. The instruction for the class was in rounds and i really liked this. It made the hour fly by. There was a quick ab workout in the beginning that I'm still feeling. :) I liked the instructor amd thought he was funny. He could have been more hands on and motivating but that's not really something i need. His playlist was awesome!

Wow, am I sore! This was a high-intensity class that kept me on my toes. We did classic warm up moves then basic moves on the bag, varying focus on speed, intensity and technique. I felt physically challenged and had fun! Not too hard to pick up the mental game.

GREAT! Everyone was welcoming and helpful. The class was about 15 women of all ages, but men were in the gym in other classes. The instructor focused on technique specific to our different levels and didn't baby me, which I appreciated - I came to work out and learn! Definitely will be back.

What is ClassPass?
