About this class

Strength work is challenging. Maybe it's chest and triceps. It could be back and biceps. Maybe we do 100 or more push-ups and just as many lunges. Whatever the workout, it's never the same thing twice. If you are new to regular exercise, this class can be overwhelming. Ease into it by using lighter weights, modifying exercises and taking breaks as needed. TRX system, dumbbells, bodybars may be used for this class. Remember, cardio is simply not enough to truly change your body. Strength training 2-4 times per week for 45 to 60 minutes will enhance your metabolism, sculpt lean muscles, improve your posture and make you stronger than you ever thought you could be!

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing. Leggings, capris, shorts and moisture wicking tops are ideal. All bikes are equipped with SPD clips and cages. Athletic shoes are appropriate for any TRX, strength, core, row or AIS class. Ride+workout does not rent cycling shoes. Bring a water bottle, a towel and a desire to work hard! Wet, slushy weather? Please change into your athletic shoes at the studio.

How to get there

Ride+workout is located at 18524 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107. This studio includes two separate entrances. Studio ride and studio row are located next door to each other with bold signs on entrance doors.

Jeannie is AMAZING! She made everything look easy and encouraging to follow but then you feel the burn of your muscles saying no more! Worth it. I think this is the most I’ve sweated in any workout! Thank you. Large class and more enthusiasm to keep going. Many different age groups as well. Loved it♥️!
