Barre & Breath: Movement and Meditation at Restore Meditation
About this class
This workout hybrid is the exercise version of the perfect pairing: barre and meditation. Healthy exercise proven to shape the body rapidly all while freeing your mind from daily stress. Our barre component mixes elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, all choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use a freestanding barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls, free weights, and resistance bands to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. Barre component is followed by 20 minutes of Guided Meditation. Find your zen while fine toning every inch of your body. What to know: Book your spot early- this class has limited availability. Everyone has different starting points, strengths and challenges, and our instructors recognize that will guide you through the movements and offer helpful feedback.Please let the instructor know if you are pregnant, have an injury or limitation. Socks required (bring your own or purchase at the studio).Wear clothes that lie close to the body, so that our instructor can easily view your alignment.

How to prepare
No special attire is needed. We will ask you to remove your shoes at the door, so feel free to bring your favorite cozy socks. We also have comfy socks for purchase at the studio. No barefeet please. Bring a yoga mat for all yoga classes. You may also rent a mat for $2. Please be punctual. We will start and end class promptly at the scheduled time. Once class starts you will not be allowed in. Please silence or turn your cell phones off and do not use them during session. Please refrain from wearing, or emitting, strong scents. Thank you.
