Plate HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) at Repose Studio
About this class
POWER HIT - High Intensity Training is a cardio based class. Using the Tabata High Intensity method to work the whole body. The principles of HIT involve exercising within 70- 80% of your maximum heart rate for brief but intense periods of time. There are lots of benefits to be gained from doing short bursts of intensive exercise – improve your aerobic & anaerobic capacity, reduce the amount of sugar in your blood stream and can also release fatty acids that can then be burned off by your muscles. In short, HIT burns fat fast and causes your body to continue burning fat for a period after you’ve worked out. NOT FOR BEGINNERS - New to Power Plate Classes - they suggest you start with a full-body class. Their class sessions are for a maximum of seven people, so you really get the most from their trainers.
