About this class

Beginning with a warm-up, we alternate intervals of high energy choreographed bouncing, with intermittent full-body strengthening exercises. We may include Tabata-like intervals and props, and definitely incorporate stretching. With the spring free rebounder, you get a low impact cardio workout that protects the joints and increases lymphatic flow. Good to know: Sticky socks required. Prerequisite Notes: No prior experience is necessary although this is a high-energy class so some exercise experience is advised. This class is NOT appropriate for pregnant clients.

How to prepare

For your first class at Reformation Fitness, please arrive 10 minutes early to sign a waiver, familiarize yourself with the studios and facility, as well as get a chance to speak to the instructor ahead of the class regarding any limitations, injuries or modifications needed. All classes are 14 members (or less) per room, so please feel free to ask questions regarding modifications, progressions, form & technique, and/or different weight/resistance levels needed. Please be courteous and respectful of all others during class. Thank you!

How to get there

Reformation Fitness - Shaw/Convention Center conveniently located in the heart of DC's Historic Shaw District. They're within a 10-15 minute walk from many surrounding neighborhoods -- including Logan Circle, U Street, Bloomingdale, Shaw, Mt. Vernon Triangle, Thomas Circle, and Gallery Place/Chinatown. Street parking is available and can be paid for via ParkMobile. The Convention Center/Mt. Vernon Metro Station (Green/Yellow lines) is one block away.

Great class that really gets your heart rate up. There’s a lot of spinning around while jumping so if you get dizzy easily it’s not for you.

What is ClassPass?
