About this class
RedBird High Intensity Cardio Interval Training is a 45 min class that combines a Pilates-style warm-up, to prepare core muscles, warm up hips and bring mental focus, with 18 minutes of cardio interval training. This high energy class is a fierce but intelligent way to improve cardiovascular health, achieve anaerobic conditioning, increase bone density and gain strength. All sequences are designed to ensure clients work through all planes of movement and receive balanced muscular training. Classes end with five to 10 minutes of stretch and cool down. HIIT cardio builds on the alignment and precision learned in RB Pilates classes. Using the strength, form and focus that you develop through your Pilates practice, you can challenge yourself to the next level - applying those principles to a high intensity workout. Mixing up your training program helps strengthen the brain/body connection that enhances not only your time in the studio, but more importantly, the way you are in the world.
