How it works

About this class

Same fun, fast-paced power yoga class you know and love, just with an added kick of heat to increase intensity and help detoxify your body.  The studio temperature will be set between 76-80 degrees.   Our Power classes are a bit faster-paced and guaranteed to make you sweat! You'll practice a quick warm-up, followed by standing and balance postures, backbends and twists, and perhaps an arm balance or two. Then you'll wind down with cooling postures and enjoy a short and sweet savasana.

I cannot day enough great things about Alyson! I’ve never liked yoga, and have always just forced myself to go since it’s good for you but this class I genuinely look forward to every week. 100 STARS!

Though a bit cliquish depending on the instructor (most aren’t like that!) I can heartily rave every time I’m here! Excellent instruction, great energy !

Alyson’s power yoga is my favorite yoga class! Good music, time to play and explore challenging postures, and laughter when you fall because those poses are way more challenging than Alyson made them look! Highly recommend this class.

Good class and flow, but the studio was not very warm. I also wish they would put something on their door so people on the street couldn’t look in during class, it was very distracting.

Good workout, enjoyed the class and the studio. It wasn't really a flow type class, but was still enjoyable.

This class wasn’t what I was looking for in a power flow. Didn’t break a sweat, and didn’t feel the class adequately warmed up muscles before jumping into some stretching poses. It just seemed we were moving through an assortment of yoga poses without building a flow, so my body felt sort of uncomfortable throughout class.
