About this class

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a type of cardio training in which you alternate short, very high intensity intervals with intervals to recover. This type of training is used by athletes to improve performance, but it’s also been shown to greatly benefit athletes of all levels. Each short, intense workout provides improved athletic capacity.

How to prepare

For boxing class, bring hand wraps. For yoga, bring a mat! Please bring a water bottle and towel to class! Hand wraps are needed for boxing and kickboxing classes and can be purchased at the studio for $10!

I enjoyed this class but it was REALLY hard for me. Im in good shape and work out 5-6x per week and I was slowest in every drill we did. I felt like the competitive aspect helped me push myself and Ill definitely come back, but just wanted to point this out as others of a different fitness level may have a bad experience. I wasnt shown any modifications, the directions were a little unclear at times, and overall it was intimidating. If youre looking for a welcoming workout for people of all fitness levels, I dont think this class is for you.

The teacher was tired and not very enthusiastic, especially for me and the other person's first time. Good workout but could use more hands on and energy
