Hip Hop Abs is part of the 55min dance-fit series incorporating hip hop movements and core strength and conditioning. Generally, 40mins of dance-fit movement and 15mins of mat work for a fun and inclusive workout!

How to prepare

For dance fitness classes, please wear regular workout attire, sneakers are OK. For "dance workshop classes," attire varies depending on type of class. Striptease class prefers students to bring a pair of heels and layered attire, for example a sports bra, tank. For Pop Jam and Hip Hop, please wear dance-fit wear and sneakers.

Hip Hop Abs with Jessica
This class is NOT for beginners. I wish that that is is labeled for advanced people. The instructor went too fast for me and my gf who I brought along. When the instructor saw us struggling, she started to break it down-which was good. BUT she would add moves in addition to the breakdown moves and it confused us even more. Did not enjoy the class and is the first class that I had to leave before it even ended. NOT for beginners and I take hip hop else where every week!

This class was way too fast, its not for everyone. The moves were very hard to follow and she kept adding moves out of nowhere, I recommend this is for advanced students. We hardly did anything that worked out your abs. I recommend this instructor to take one of jazons class at uforia studios, hell show you how to teach a hip hop class.

Super fun! Jessica has amazing energy and her playlist is so good. Lots of sweat. My only critiques are that there wasnt as targeted an ab workout as I was expecting, and the class is crowded so it can be hard to see Jessicas choreography (and must be careful to not punch other people in class!)

Jessica is awesome instructor (and also founder of the studio) and has so much fun energy! Loved the mix of songs and upbeat choreography that wasnt difficult to pick up as a newbie

The regulars in this class seemed to love it, so I think as a newcomer I had a different experience. We definitely worked up a sweat, the instructor was super energetic and a great dancer, but the workout was not for me. I never quite understood the flow and it seemed a bit all over the place for me.
