Yoga Nidra (Psychic sleeping) – Yoga Nidra is the art of conscious relaxation. It is a powerful practice where the body and mind are liberated from their tensions and anxiety. One learns how to put the body into sleep while the mind remains fully awake. The brain wave drops into the theta state where deep levels of healing takes place on the emotional, mental, and physical planes.

Jamie was great! Enjoyed class very much. However, the addition of background music or nature sounds for ease into relaxation would have made the class much more beneficial for me.

This class was great! very relaxing. Definitely not a work out physically but mentally it is just what you need it especially if you have any stress in your life.

Helpful things to know about Pure that arent in the blurb: you need a lock for the lockers and you dont have to bring your own yoga mat; they provide As for the meditation class, its held in a pitch dark room and the instructor used visualization as a vehicle for relaxation. Very effective!

not quite what I expected. She just spoke very quickly during body scan sections. She'll spoke a lot so there are not that many moments quiet. The meditations was not the whole hour because she saves 10 or more minutes at the end of a group discussion regarding the practice.

the teacher was great, soft, and clear. the studio was tight but big if that makes sense. I didn't like the acoustic and random bang sounds from other classes very distracting. otherwise I was so alert and happy after class
