About this class

Inspired by resistance training. Perfected by Pure Barre. Pure Reform is a total body workout that targets, shapes, and defines all major muscle groups through resistance‐based strength training. The 50‐minute class merges the elements you love from our Pure Barre technique with moves that challenge your strength, coordination and balance by using resistance bands, sliders, and the barre. (Socks required, sticky socks recommended.)

How to prepare

1.New students must arrive 15 mins early to fill out paperwork, regardless of having been to other Pure Barres 2.They cannot accommodate anyone who is more than 5 mins late 3.Pants, legging or capris (no shorts, please) + grippy socks required 4.Shoes & cell phones are not allowed in studio 5.Please let the instructor know of any injuries 6.Pregnant students: always consult with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine and alert your teacher for modifications

How to get there

The Union Square studio is located at 78 5th Avenue between 13th and 14th streets on the 4th floor. Press the buzzer for entry. **IMPORTANT: Please note you will not be admitted to class if you are over 5 minutes late!**

Like a mix of barre and Pilates.. great core workout. Really liked the instructor, some hands-on adjustments. It is difficult to hear the instructor during adjustments though because of the volume of the music. Would definitely take this class again!

This class was fun, but super intense.

This class is similar to Pure Empower but there's a bunch of equipment that can be difficult to use the first time. Some familiarity with pure barre is better if you're thinking of taking this class because the instructor moves very quickly and there are fewer corrections. That said, despite the frustrations the first time, I would go back.

What is ClassPass?

ClassPass is a new kind of gym membership that grants you access to thousands of different classes at studios and gyms in your city and around the world.

Price of membership depends on your plan type and city, and you can book and explore classes ranging from yoga to barre to cycling to martial arts – the options are truly endless!

The number of classes you can take and the number of times you can visit a studio per month depends on which plan you're on. You can figure out which plan you're on by going to your Account Settings and looking under 'Your current plan.' With hundreds of studios in our ever-growing network, you're bound to always find a new class to enjoy. When your cycle renews, you can go back and revisit those favorites yet again!
