About this class

As long as you can hold a ballet barre, you can do Pure Barre. That’s not to say that it’s easy, your first class will likely feel challenging at times, but they encourage you to stick with it. Try your hardest and let loose and feel free to ask your instructor plenty of questions after class if you weren't clear on any of the moves.

How to prepare

1.New students must arrive 15 mins early to fill out paperwork, regardless of having been to other Pure Barres 2.We cannot accommodate anyone who is more than 5 mins late 3.Pants, legging or capris (no shorts) + top that covers midriff + socks required 4.Shoes & cell phones are not allowed in studio 5.Please let the instructor know of any injuries 6.Pregnant students: always consult with your doctor before beginning a new exercise routine and alert your teacher for modifications

Good class but could really have done without the disco lights, made my face hurt. And do all the pure barre classes need to adopt the exact same ‘cool down voice’ feels so uniform and un authentic, wish the teachers could add more personality he franchise should loosen up

Anne was great! She is super energetic and friendly! She gave clear instructions and individualized feedback which was super helpful considering this was my first barre class ever.
Pure Barre Classic with Chelsea
This is one of the best whole body workouts I’ve ever taken. Each muscle group was shaking at some point during the class and repetitions were often to fatigue! I was definitely building strength from the exercises. Chelsea does a great job of making subtle corrections so that our body mechanics are correct and we avoid injury.
Pure Barre Classic with Rachel
Rachel Barker is one of the best instructors at PB Pasadena in my opinion. Great energy, friendly, clear step by step directions, and she tries to adjust and correct most people’s forms, if not everyone’s. Her classes always push me to challenge myself. I wish she had more weekend schedules!

kaily buemi was a fantastic instructor! this class was very fun and I got a great workout out of it. the class was 50 minutes and time just flew by. with kailey's guidance on specific positions, I really learned quite a lot about my muscles. I would recommend this class to anyone who is looking for a good core / muscle / leg workout!

Koryn gave clear instructions and also made it a point to check on most clients. She also adjusted me quite a few times which I really appreciate. Even though I have been coming to Purebarre for almost 3 years now, I appreciate it when instructors help me adjust my form to get maximum results. Not too many instructors do that anymore, sadly.

This class was very fast-paced, so I had difficulty keeping up! I wouldn't recommend for beginners especially for those with lower-back issues. They focus on speed rather than form.
