Yoga with Bunnies at Providence Power Yoga
About this class
Please join us for House Rabbit Network's first official Bunny Yoga event in Rhode Island. Come meet some of the shelter bunnies and practice yoga with them. Natalie Darmohraj is our volunteer yoga instructor for the class. $25 minimum suggested donation per ticket. This will be a shelter bunnies only event, which also allows us to give the adoptable shelter bunnies some extra love and exercise! The House Rabbit Network is an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to finding homes for discarded rabbits and to educating the public about them. We don’t receive any government funding and rely on the donations of our generous supporters. The House Rabbit Network is an organization formed with two primary purposes: To rescue homeless rabbits and find them good indoor homes and also to educate the public about rabbits and their care. These activities may include: * providing foster care for discarded domestic rabbits and arranging for adoption to permanent indoor homes; * assisting humane societies and shelters with rabbits; * providing spay/neuter surgery and veterinary care through arrangements with area practitioners; * rehabilitating and socializing mistreated or neglected animals; * permanently caring for animals who cannot be placed in adoptive homes due to serious health or behavioral problems; and * educating the public on responsible pet ownership and humane practices.

How to prepare
You will want to wear clothes that you feel comfortable sweating in – pretty much what you would wear to work out or run in, minus the socks and shoes. They recommend bringing a change of clothes to go home nice and dry. You will need a yoga mat, towel, and bottle of water. If you do not have these, they offer a quality Manduka yoga mat rental for $2, Yogi-toes rental for $3, and hand (sweat) towels are available at no cost. You can purchase a bottle of water for $2. They also have Vitamin Water and Gatorade.
