About this class

This class is held in the dance studio of The Manhattan Youth Community Center, located at 120 Warren St. Wear comfortable workout attire, and a supportive bra (class is done barefoot). Bring water. This strength-centered class helps you first establish a solid foundation -- proper alignment, deep core strength, better movement quality -- then encourages you to dial up the intensity. Hands-on instructor support allows you to safely build strength at a level that’s right for you. Strength circuits are interspersed with LIIT drills (Labor Intensive Interval Training) – our proprietary way of helping you physically and mentally prepare for Stage 1 Labor! This class is done barefoot. Modifiable for all fitness levels and stages of pregnancy.

How to prepare

For prenatal classes, bring water and a yoga mat or towel. For stroller workouts, bring water and a yoga mat, large towel, or blanket. For all classes, wear sneakers and a supportive bra.
