About this class

Slow Flow Surrender is a gentle flow for those new to yoga, recovering from an injury, or dealing with limited range of motion. It' for the person who needs to slow down and connect to their body, to their center at the end of the day. This class covers fundamental postures and holds them between 3-5 breathes. The class will test your endurance, sometimes challenge your patience, and increase your mental awareness while strengthening your muscles and increasing your range of motion in a safe and nurturing environment. All are levels are welcome! PS If you have an injury, or limitation, tell Lauren, so she can help you nurture it, while gently working through it.Mats available to rent for $3 and towels for $1.

How to prepare

Please note that first time students must arrive at the studio at least 10 minutes prior to class start time. You must wear sticky barre socks in the studio during class; no shoes or bare feet are permitted. Please bring a yoga mat or you may rent one.They do sell grippy socks at the studio! If it is your first time please arrive 10 minutes early to sign a mandatory waiver or login to their website to e-sign!

Pretty bad. Not sure youd call it Yoga, more twisting and laying down. Class finished 10 minutes early too. Dont think Ill be back.

Overall the class was good but I wish there was a little more individualized attention. There were only two of us in the class so it would have been nice to get more help with some of the poses - especially since both of us were beginners.

Issac was a great instructor. Even though I was the only one in class he took the time to guide me through the steps. It was a bit more of a workout than I anticipated, mainly because I hadn't stretched in a very very long time.
