How to prepare

Bring a yoga mat, water and towel and wear fitted, moisture-wicking exercise clothes. Remember that every single person in class had a first hot yoga class once. Though yoga may seem unfamiliar at first, try to leave your ego at the door and let yourself be a beginner. Yoga is a practice, but every person in the room is there for the same reason: yoga makes us feel better. Every PFY studio offers Warm Vinyasa Basics classes. In these classes, you will break down common vinyasa yoga poses and learn modifications so you feel empowered and safe.

Warm Powerflow Basics with Matthew
Matt was really kind and knowledgeable and helpful in demonstrating proper alignment in poses. More athletic than spiritual. I probably won’t return because it wasn’t exactly my favorite style, but I can see why it would be right for others!
Warm Powerflow Basics with Ilene
Ilene was great at breaking down the class for beginners. Would definitely take her class again!
Warm Powerflow Basics with Eileen
Eileen was great! She was excellent at breaking down poses. She showed modifications and made sure everyone knew what they were doing. I really appreciated it as someone who does not practice regularly!
