About this class

This fundamental Power Pilates workout is taught at an Intermediate/Advanced level. The Mat Class will build upon the essential elements of form and precision taught in the Beginner Class and add on a variety of new exercises and variations. This is a strenuous workout not recommended if you are new to Pilates.

Mat Class with Pedro
The description of the class was that it was an advanced pilates class. In reality the class was the most basic and routine intro level class that you could find in a youtube video. There was not a single series that was in anyway advanced or challenging for anyone who has done even the most basic level of pilates. Pedro himself seemed to be on auto-pilot, reciting lines of this routine with no interruption to provide anyone in class a single correction. Not once did he approach anyone in class with any so called expertise which is why i really felt like paying for this class was a huge waste of money since i could have taken myself through this routine from some amateur youtube routine. Overall, very disappointing.

Really nice location, everything was clean and well kept. The instructor was very friendly and gave me good corrections on technique. She offers different versions of the exercises to suit different levels.

Dani is a great teacher that goes at a pace and with modifications that can work for beginners to advanced.

Good sequence of exercises. Stephanie was peppy and energetic, almost impatient but a good teacher. I prefer a little slower pace to an express class.

No stretching involved, mostly core exercises no use of any Pilates machinery, but instructor was good at walking through the steps and providing modifications. Good for beginners

I understand now why this class was only 5 credits. First of all, the elevator in the building was broken, so I had to climb 6 flights of stairs to get to the studio. The studio itself was kind of outdated- there were lots of torn mats and harsh, bright lighting in the studio I was in. The instructor was really nice, but moved at a really fast pace and was hard to understand, even as a fairly advanced Pilates studio. Don’t know if I would come back to this studio....
