Argentine Tango at Posh Cycling and Fitness
About this class
Argentine Tango classes are designed to be welcoming for all levels. Each class will begin with quick stretches and followed by tango drills that will be useful in the class topic. Anyone joining for the first time will be able to feel comfortable from beginning to end. The classes build off of each exercise we complete. During each exercise, the instructor Nick, seeks out every individual to add extra assistance to make sure everyone is ready as a whole to move on to the next stage in the class. The one on one attention also brings up questions that may benefit the class as a whole. In each class, students are partnered up accordingly so there is no need to come with a partner. As for dance shoes, anything that makes it comfortable to pivot in is perfect. As for attire, comfortable clothing is fine. Classes are filled with the fundamentals that will help shape you into a well-rounded tango dancer. Students will also be exposed to different techniques and styles, musical steps, and a strong frame and embrace to build an intimate connection with your partner. Argentine Tango also comes with tango etiquette which dancers must use on and off the dance floor. These classes will prepare us for what we call the Milonga, where all the Argentine Tango dancer of all levels come to socialize and dance.

How to prepare
Wear comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes. Our cycling bikes are compatible with cycling SPD clips. Water bottles are recommended. Please arrive at least 10 minutes to class to sign in, and set up your bike .

Posh Cycling and Fitness is located at 9925 Rhode Island Avenue in College Park, Maryland. We are right off the 495 highway.
