About this class

Get yourself in tip-top pole shape with this 1-hour class divided into 30-minute Firm (pole conditioning) and 30-minute Flexy (deep stretch and flexibility). During Firm, we will utilize the pole to condition our bodies and work on exercises that will prepare you for advanced pole moves while toning and tightening your core. During Flexy we will focus on proper form while stretching; we will utilize poles, walls, and partners to get an intense and deep stretch. It is recommended that you have previous pole experience or attended at least 3 pole classes prior to taking this class.

How to prepare

Whatever you feel comfortable in, however shorts are encouraged for pole classes and leggings are encouraged for aerial classes. Normally we dance barefoot, but feel free to wear heels (must have an ankle strap).

How to get there

Located on the very busy 14th street in DC (1322 14th St NW 2nd Floor Washington DC 20005). If you have to park, leave extra time to search for parking. There is limited street, lot, and garage parking. The nearest metro is McPherson Square Metro (blue, orange, silver). Our studio is located on the 2nd floor directly above Popeye's chicken, and in between THE PIG and BTOO restaurants. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. If your arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of your class, your reservation will be canc

Barely an intense workout. If you're looking for a low-key easy workout then you should do this. If you're already in great shape and have a routine, don't waste your time.

The instructor was great; however, one should either have been to a couple beginner pole classes before or have significant upper body strength in order to do the pole portion of this class.

Cool class if you want to learn pole basics. I'm not a fan of low intensity workouts. The air also did not circulate well.
