About this class

Get your dance ON! This is a great cardio, sculpting class for everyone. Our Certified & Professional Dancers & Barre Instructors are ready to help you dance your butt off. Get ready to sweat and have some serious workout fun. This class will combine easy to follow dance moves with plyometrics for a total body workout as well as familiar Ballet/Pilates Barre toning exercises. Each class is different and will combine weights, sculpting and lots moves. Dance experience is not necessary. Just come and follow along for a fun, high intensity workout! GRIP-SOLED SOCKS are MANDATORY for ALL classes at PLATEFIT. We sell socks at the studio. If you choose to forfeit your class because of the grip-sock policy, please be aware that it will be marked as a "missed" class.

How to prepare

Who’s PLATEFIT designed for? Anyone! (who isn't pregnant) At PLATEFIT they believe fitness looks different on every body. PLATEFIT tips: Feels like the very first time? We recommend at least 3 classes to acclimate your body to vibration. Grip Soled Socks are required & available at the studios for $15. First Time clients- please arrive 15 min early so the staff can give you the PLATEFIT vibrational down low. They allow a grace period of 3 mins. Arrival after 3 mins will result in the loss of your spot if a Wait List client is present.

How to get there

PLATEFIT BRENTWOOD is pleased to provide 75 MINUTES VALIDATED PARKING in either the Parking structure below our studio (Brentwood Town Center) and additional parking adjacent to the studio (Brentwood Place) above Helmut Lang and Theory conveniently providing direct access to the 2nd floor and PLATEFIT.

Buy cheap grip socks before if you dont want to be chastised in front of class for wearing regular socks ....

Love this class! It is challenging while still being fun and motivating. The fact that it's only 30 minutes long makes it easy to squeeze into my busy schedule. Would definitely recommend!

27 minutes of nonstop killer moves for those awesome results! We love the benefits of the plate which include increased muscle contractions that utilize those 30 minutes to it's maximum potential! In 27 minutes you're getting a 90 minute workout! AMAZE right?
Barre/DanceFIT - Power Plate with Annie
My favorite instructors at Plate Fit teach the class at a pace thats fast but controlled and they are in tune and in command of the class to keep most of us doing the exercises in sync, which positively adds to the energy level of the class. Annie was not my favorite instructor. She offered very few form corrections and the pace was frantic.

What an interesting class. It was fun and definitely something to get used to.

The plate definitely takes some time getting used to. We usually recommend coming in 3 times to give yourself time to fully adjust to the plate! All our trainers keep the energy high to make the class fun while you get your sweat on!

would prefer a little less focus on calf muscles but great class

What is ClassPass?
