About this class

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility and long, lean muscles, strength and endurance in the legs, abs, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing to relieve stress and allow adequate oxygen flow to muscles, developing a strong core or center (tones abs while strengthening the back), and improving coordination and balance Pilates focuses on 6 principles that were developed by Joseph Pilates. These 6 principles include breathing, concentration, centering, control, precision and flow. You will notice that all of these things come into play during your Pilates practice. Our Pilates classes are unique because of our PX Wall™ Apparatus. The springs are mounted on the wall which provides resistance to develop long and lean muscles.

How to prepare

We look forward to seeing you taking class with us! Just wear comfortable workout clothing and don't forget to wear grip socks. Don't worry if you don't have a pair because we have cute ones to available for purchase. It's important to hydrate so bring your water or we have here for only $1!

How to get there

We are located in the Los Altos Shopping Center on the backside of Trader Joes. Our parking lot is off Stearns Street just look for the teal awning!

Pilates with Ashley
Great class & instructor - very chill, but also a great workout when the moves are done with proper Pilates technique. Ashley I’s class isn’t one where you’ll break a sweat, but you will be sore for days.

i called early to learn more about the studio & Janette was very lovely & informative. I was greeted kindly upon arriving. Josie was very clear on her directions for a position as well as transitioning in to a new one. The entire workout was challenging & great!!! I look forward to coming back as often as possible. I highly recommend & I’ve only been once so far. Also, the studio is a cute & innovative setup with creative decor!

This was my first Pilates class and I loved it!

The class was fine, but seemed to be overbooked. They have spring walls but they were all full by the time I found parking and signed in, and I had to use a mat in the middle of the room (which was fine, however I signed up for this class to try out the spring walls.)

Great teacher - had an ease and nice explanation of the exercises. Overall too easy though. Didn’t break a sweat

Very low impact, quiet relaxed environment, wall contraption very easy to use and the instructor gave very clear instructions. My tiny muscles were on fire!

So intense but the pain is so satisfying!! Great class!!!

This class was a good workout, but I had two issues with it. First, the instructor would giggle whenever things were really gnarly. It was really annoying. More importantly, I feel like she’d have us do too much with one muscle group without a break, so my muscles I was supposed to be using would get exhausted and others would compensate, causing pain in the wrong places. I won’t be taking this class again.

What is ClassPass?
