Grippy socks required for Pilates classes. Power up Pilates ProWorks style with a vigorous flow of Pilates, strength training and flexibility work in this athletic combo class. Through this mix you will sculpt, tone and flow your way to a strong body and calm mind, while improving balance, flexibility and stamina. Many modifications make this 55 minute full-body workout accessible to all levels.

How to prepare

Grippy socks are required to be worn for their Pilates classes on their FitFormers. These are sold in studio. Please arrive 20 minutes before class time so that their studio manager can go over the fundamentals of the FitFormer machine and PilatesPro Method.

How to get there

Pilates ProWorks Edina is located at the Lower Level Parking Lot of Centennial Lakes Plaza on France Ave (Behind Wholefoods and Starbucks). There is plenty of free parking right in front of the studio.

Good for an active recovery day
Tone and Flow with Ariel
This class was a nice combination, and a good addition to my routine. It was challenging, but not strenuous. Ariel was attentive, helpful, and open to modifications.

This was my first time takin tone and flow. It was a great workout. Ariel kept the energy up the entire time and had great song selection. The moves were easy to follow. Overall solid workout.

I had a really hard time enjoying this class. We just repeated 6 or so moves in different rep sets for the last 30 minutes of the class. I have no problem with repeats, but it was hard to enjoy. Instructor was super enthusiastic, though! The format just made it tough.

I really liked the use of small handheld weights through the entirety of the class. Great way to build lean muscle! Kelsey had lots of energy and was smiling the whole time and encouraging. The instructor walked in and started class right away, so I wasn't able to check in with her about any modifications I might need to do beforehand, and she had to leave RIGHT AFTER class to teach another class. The front desk staff was friendly and showed me around, but how quickly she entered and exited felt a bit less welcoming to me. The class is a great option for a quick-paced high energy yoga sculpt type experience.

My legs are really feeling this today! The only thing I would want to change was the number of repetitions we did when we got to the heavy legs/arms work. More variation might break it up a little better. Overall effective class and a good sweat. Kelsey rocks!

This class isn't advertised well. It doesn't use the machines, which I was looking forward to. It's much more like the yogaburn classes at yoga fit

This class was fine, but not nearly as fun as MatBox which is what this class replaced. The description was kind of confusing. They should call it yoga sculpt. Kelsey was really great though. She was smiling constantly, did the whole workout with us, and had awesome energy.

This was a great class and great instructor, but the description is not the best. The Pilates machine is not used at all and the class is divided into 3 parts: mat Pilates, yoga sculpt, and stretching
