About this class

Grippy socks required for Pilates classes. Through a unique fusion of ballet barre work, cardio, and pilates core conditioning, this intensely paced full-body workout burns fat and increases stamina. In this fun and challenging class you can expect to target your glutes, quads and calves at the barre, creating long, lean muscle mass. The pilates matwork focuses on strengthening your abs, core and lower back as well as some light stretching exercises. No dance experience necessary.

How to prepare

Grippy socks are required to be worn for their Pilates classes on their FitFormers. These are sold in studio. Please arrive 20 minutes before class time so that their studio manager can go over the fundamentals of the FitFormer machine and PilatesPro Method.

How to get there

Pilates ProWorks Edina is located at the Lower Level Parking Lot of Centennial Lakes Plaza on France Ave (Behind Wholefoods and Starbucks). There is plenty of free parking right in front of the studio.

Wouldve like a bit more of an introduction or instruction before class started, but luckily I've done Barre before so it worked out fine. It was a good workout and the people that go here are very nice and welcoming.

This class is a good workout, but there's not really any flow to follow. It would be pretty difficult for someone new to barre classes.

Great class, challenging and motivating. I loved the extra cardio in with the Barre moves. I wouldn't recommend for beginners as there was no instruction - but easy to pickup if you have done bar before.

What is ClassPass?
