About this class
The yoga class follows Pathanjali's 8 limb path to yoga - Raja Yoga. With aspects of Samkya Theory (Theory of Creation) and the Yamas and Niyamas considered, we begin by bringing our awareness to our breath and practice synchronizing our breath to movement as we warm up the body through a series of Satyananda sun salutations and modern variations of vinyasa flows and mat based asana. Our classes are approachable and non-judging, with people from many backgrounds and walks of life attending. We end with pranayama and shavasana or a short yoga nidra.

How to prepare
Please bring your own mat or towel and wear loose clothes. We have spare mats and blocks you can borrow. It is recommended that you avoid eating less than 3 hours prior to classes. If you have any injuries, concerns about a particular aspect of your health or any circumstances that may affect the benefits of your practice (including pregnancy) please advise your your teacher upon arriving to class.
How to get there
Our indoor classes take place at The Senior Citizens Hall and St James Mitchell Park on Coode St. Travel up Coode Street, away from the park up the hill on the corner of Angelo Street behind the NAB bank is the hall there's 2 hr parking or bus access. Our outdoor classes are by located in 3 public locations: - left of the car park in front of the Fun Cats boat dock at the end of Coode Street, Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth; - Rushmore Loop Park, Baldivis; and - Bell Park Reserve on Rockingham foreshore. Look for the yoga mats.
